The Esopus Fire Department is proud to host the 2nd Annual Esopus Fire Department 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the iconic Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Attractions.
After a successful first year, this community-focused event returns to bring together runners, walkers, families, and local businesses in support of our 100% volunteer fire department. Proceeds from the event will be used to make improvements to the Esopus Firehouse that directly benefit our volunteer firefighters and EMTs.
The event will also include a Kids Fun Run following the completion of the 5K.

Sponsorship Opportunities
We are currently seeking event sponsors to help make this year’s 5K a success. Sponsorships help cover race expenses and directly support the Esopus Fire Department’s operations and community services. This year we expect approximately 150 runners, and sponsors will receive great visibility before and during the event.

- Platinum Sponsor – $500
Company logo displayed on the back of all runners’ and volunteers’ tee-shirts - Gold Sponsor – $250
Smaller company logo displayed on event tee-shirts - Silver Sponsor – $150
Company name listed on event tee-shirts
All sponsors will also be recognized on race day, on our social media platforms, and with lawn signs displayed along the 5K course.

All sponsorships and logos must be received by April 24, 2026 to guarantee inclusion on the event tee-shirts.
