Esopus Fire Department provides the following services to members of the communities of West Park, Esopus, and Ulster Park within the boundaries of the Esopus Fire District. Esopus Fire Department is an all volunteer department.

Burn Permits
Open burning in the Esopus Fire District requires the person burning to have a burn permit. You can obtain a burn permit from a Chief officer via any of the following methods:
- Come in person to the firehouse on Thursday evenings
- Email burnpermit@esopusfd.com
- Call 845-384-6575 ext. 3 and leave your name and phone number
